Rain grew up as a slave. Her master was a member of a goblin tribe that continually raided Razorclaw villages looking for promising young shifters. On the day of her coming of age she was rescued from the goblins by an elderly Human Druid named Terrance Reis.

Terrance taught the young shifter the way of the forest; instilling in her a love of nature. She fought with him often, her anger and rage breaking through the calm he attempted to give. In the last years of his life he devoted hours to her training, both in the druidic talents and relationships.

Several weeks ago Terrance succombed to old age, leaving Rain everything he owned. Rather than remain in a house void of her mentor she has decided to venture out and put what he taught her to use.
